Job Description:
The Early Years Educator is responsible for the care and education of children aged 2 years and 8 months to 6 years old. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and be able to create a stimulating and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver a variety of activities that promote children's development in all areas (physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language)
Provide individual and group care for children
Observe and assess children's development
Work with parents and families to support children's learning
Maintain a safe and clean environment
Complete required paperwork and reports
Qualifications and Experience:
QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent
1+ years of experience working with children in an early years setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to early childhood education
Salary:
€13.00 per hour (standard rate)
€15.50 per hour (graduate rate)
Hours:
Part-time hours (12 to 24 hours per week)
