Job Description:
Roles include:
Experience in working with children is essential.
Start date: Immediately.
- Experience is preferred but not essential.
- Must have a genuine love for children.
- A working knowledge of Aistear and Siolta.
- Ability to assist in running a room and plan the daily activities for the children adhering to the curriculum.
- A high level of professionalism is required.
- Preparing a nutritious snack for children when they arrive and adhering to our healthy afterschool menu.
- To ensure a high standard of care and hygiene is maintained within the setting.
- To take day to day responsibility for children and staff.
- Supervising homework and assisting children if required.
- Facilitating activities with the children and ensuring each child’s needs are met.
- Adhere to the child protection policy and report any concerns to the DLP.
- To develop ongoing positive relationships with parents.
- To provide a home from home environment which is inclusive to all children.
Experience in working with children is essential.
Start date: Immediately.
HOURS:
30-35 hours
DAYS:
Monday to Friday
