Galway Childcare Committee are delighted once again to invite groups to apply for 2024 grant funding for new and existing Parent & Toddler groups in Galway. The focus of the 2024 Parent & Toddler grant is to support groups to include all families with a particular focus on recently arrived parents and children from Ukraine and other countries. These groups are an important source of social contact for parents, grandparents and childminders, as well as to young children.
*It is worth noting that 50% of the grant awarded to existing groups may be spent on insurance or rent and 70% of the grant awarded to new groups may be spent on insurance or rent.
We would urge all groups to read through the attached guidelines and application form thoroughly before submitting an application.
The deadline for submitting your grant application along with ALL supporting documentation is Friday the 3rd of May 2024, applications will not be accepted after this date.
Applications will only be considered if they are:

Posted to Galway Childcare Committee, Unit 9b, Liosban Retail Centre, Tuam Road, Galway, H91 Y6D2.
Please see the following checklist to ensure your application is complete:

1. Completed application form.
2. Completed income and expenditure sheet for existing groups only (included in the application form).
3. Completed and signed data protection sheet (included in the application form).
4. The following 2 bank statements in the group’s name are required; a recent bank statement dated within the last 2 months.or a bank statement from December 31st 2023 confirming the bank balance was less than €3,000.
5. A copy of appropriate and current insurance (including section 20 receipt).
