The aim of these publications is to guide and inform parents and carers on how to reduce the risks of sudden infant death syndrome (cot death). The information contained is based on current research and best practice. Both publications were produced by the National Paediatric Mortality Register in partnership with the HSE Child Safety Programme - National Healthy Childhood programme.
