Choosing Childcare: what to look for
What should a parent ask when choosing childcare? How do you decide what type of childcare is suitable for your child? How can you avail of the free pre-school scheme (ECCE)? The Galway City & County Childcare Committee will host an information meeting for parents on Thursday, 8th October at the Menlo Park Hotel, Galway at 8.00 p.m. The main topics to be covered are: Choosing Childcare: what to look for ; Information on the free pre-school scheme (ECCE), the transition from pre-school to primary school and Identifying parents’ needs.
Mary Giblin, Coordinator of Galway City & County Childcare Committee and Development Officers will be at hand to answer any childcare-related queries you may have. Mary Giblin hopes that “parents will avail of the opportunity to ask any questions they may have regarding childcare, be it about childcare costs, available resources or any other query.”
