Community Childcare Subvention (CCS) Programme
The Community Childcare Subvention (CCS) scheme subvents community not-for-profit childcare services, to enable them to charge reduced childcare fees to disadvantaged and low-income parents.
Parents in receipt of social welfare and/or medical card may avail of reduced childcare fees at participating Community Childcare Services.
Changes in CCS scheme from September 2012
- Reduction in Band A Subvention rate for parents of 5%

Band A Eligibility: Parents must be welfare recipient and hold a medical card
